Drawing upon 25 years of experience in the industry, Sherwood Prototype, Inc. provides prototype and short run stamping services for your products. We also assist with research and development of new products, providing maximum benefit in the early stages of your product life cycle. We work with light weight, high strength steels for our prototype and short run pieces, including martensite and spring steel.

Our 450 ton press has a maximum press stroke of 24", and we can stamp metal parts measuring up to 60" x 84", with a material thickness up to 0.375". We can also handle deep draw stamping processes, with a maximum draw of 6". Other features and stamping methods we offer include coining, extruding, and semi-piercing. We also offer a number of finishing services, from anodizing and plating to assembly and packaging. We serve clients across all industries, wherever metal stamped parts are needed.
